Millefiori honey is the product of a blend of different nectars collected by bees during the same period of time. Each blend is unique depending on the territory where it was produced, the time of year, and the course of the season. All these variables create different combinations between flowers and bees, resulting in unique flavor variations.
Tasting our millefiori honey at the foot of the Orobic Pre-Alps, you will perceive the predominant notes of acacia flowers mixed with those of dandelion, horse chestnut, and clover.
Our millefiori honey is obtained without any artificial processing, from the nectar of wild flora, in absolute respect for the bees, their well-being, and the natural cycle of the product. We have chosen native bee species to produce honey in an uncontaminated environment, foregoing intensive production methods and chemical treatments: we wait for nature's timing and protect the rich floral variety of our estate.
To preserve its nutrients and ensure its purity, the most important thing is to keep it raw, meaning it is produced naturally and artisanally, with bees foraging on various types of flowers, and not through an industrial blending process; raw honey is directly extracted from the comb and simply filtered and settled to remove any traces of wax and natural impurities that might be present. Our beehives are located in the wooded areas of our property, far from heavy pollution sources. As a result, the honey preserves its natural characteristics, undergoing no treatments whatsoever. We do not feed the bees with any sugary substances, nor do we use chemical synthetics or antibiotics.
